Peaceful
As the river flows gently over the rocky riverbed
With the water sparkling in the reflection of sunlight
Sunlight that is filtered and seeps through the canopy of trees bent over
Tadpoles and fishes finding solace in the shaded shadows of their leaves

Calm
As the ocean stretches on endlessly into the distant sky
And the waves tumble gracefully toward the sandy shores
Washing and rinsing the perfectly white grains of sand
And the names of the wonderful people I inscribed in its bed

Elegant
As the full moon pulls out its head in the beautiful night sky
Casting its bright, comforting peace onto the silent observer
With the rabbit’s silhouette, the crickets’ chirps
Glittering silver beam occasionally mixed with a tint of crimson

Splendour
As we watch the sun sink down into the horizon
Carrying along its life, lit with a golden scarlet ray
It made our food green, showed us the way
Off it goes… to show such kindness to others of my kind… on other latitudes

Aesthetic
The beauty of life in the absence of strife
As we lie on our backs on a sandy beach with the sunset and moonlight taking each other’s place
The hissing and tumbling sounds of the sea’s tides filling our ears and coating our faces with salt
Glistering starry heavens, with twinkling radiance of Centauri, Sirius, and Canopus
